When you turn the blower for heat/air on the fuel and water temp gauges go from top to bottom and the door locks open and close. If you leave switch on long enough the #35 fuse blows. Need help?

 

I experienced the same symptoms when the air conditioner clutch coil went bad on my 2000 Malibu. I temporarily disconnected the wires going to the compressor and drove without a/c until I replaced the clutch coil. You could drive it without turning the a/c on but the first time you run your defroster, the air conditioner compressor is automatically turned on and there goes the fuse and your dash gauges.
