Does the 2010 Malibu LT have a cabin filter, and if so, where would it be? Thanks

 

Check the owners manual or do a search on Google.

 

Already did google and owners manual, no help whatsoever.

 

Call the dealers parts department and ask them if they have them.

 

The 7th generation Malibu (2008-2012) of which I own a 2010 does not have a cabin air filter.

 

I know this is an oldish post, but I'd like to say that the Gen 7 does have a cabin air filter if you're willing to do a bit of work. If you drop the glove box out, there's a spot behind that says cut along dotted line. If you remove this, you can install a cabin air filter. The only thing is you'll need to fabricate your own door or find one from another GM model to seal it back up. What some do is just cut 3 of the sides, leaving the top attached and just fold it out of the way to install/replace and then tape it down. You can also fabricate a plastic or metal door to screw into the two screw holes available.
