2011 Malibu Enterprise rental, add technology group back?
Too bad that the Comp Nine's online VIN decoder is now defunct. The SPID label on the glove compartment door has the list of RPO codes that went into the build which you can decode with the attached PDF file. Or, send a PM to member Chevrolet Customer Service and see if a build sheet can be gotten.

OK, Drove down to where I got the car and talked to the sales manager then went to see "Jerry" from parts and service.
The wire harness in the Enterprise car delete is not the normal harness. He called in to Mother GM in front of me asking for help adding back the On Star, XM, and Bluetooth. The answer was that with the U2J XM delete and the UE0 On-Star delete, my car has a unique wire harness that can not support the missing parts.
It would require complete changes of harness, buying parts, removing headliner to run the XM antenna buy new radio, buy XM module.... Basically, they said it would cost me thousands of dollars.
Boy, would it have been nice BEFORE BUYING THE CAR to have been told that the car is an LT1, but does NOT have many of the standard and expected LT1 features.
The one good thing I learned is that the OEM remote start is able to be supported. They said they would really take care of me and get it to me at cost, so they offered it to me at $160 with $80 labor. The price at the GM website is $165. So their price does not sound like such a super-duper helping hand.
The big take away from this is that they should have informed me of these facts while I was shopping the car. Instead, I discovered this the following weekend when I set out with the manual to set up and activate all of the features that I completely expected to have available.
Additional supporting information:

It is a great looking automobile though.

Oh, well, like you said, "is a great looking automobile," like a fine woman. Hopefully yours won't be high maintenance. Mine's been trouble-free (except for the usual suspension noises) but I've heard horror stories. I suppose when one pays top dollar for a loaded Malibu, those little clunks and squeaks can practically drive one crazy.
