2012 Malibu Transmission Issues
I have a 12 Malibu and today I was accelerating to about 40, and the RPM'S almost got to 4k, then when I took my foot off the gas for a second to see if it would go back down it took about 3 seconds before it down shifted. There have been a few issues like this within the past month, it will feel like it's getting "stuck" in between gears and it takes about 3-4 seconds for it to shift into the next gear. It also feels like it's sluggish down slowly down-shifting to a stop. The car is at the dealership right now and they said they didn't pull up any codes and that they can't replace anything unless a code is coming up for the tranny. Anyone else having this issue with the tranny?
Yes I am. Mines is also at the dealer. My car shifts out hard sometimes and I feel what you are talking about when you slow down. The sad thing, mines dont have a code either. I believe they think I'm making it up, or thats how I'm treated.

Exactly, they think I'm nuts because "it's a new car, it shouldn't have transmission issues", but from the research I have done online I have found people with similar issues that had less than 10k miles on the car. And I tell them they're going to waste my gas going on a test drive because it doesn't happen all the time, it's random.
