My a/c hasn't worked for quite a while and now the compressor pulley is squealing worse every day. I really don't want to spend a lot to try to get it fixed. I've heard that you can get a bypass pulley and bracket that bolts on instead of the a/c compressor. So far I haven't found one for my 2.4l Quad4, everything I find is for the 3.1l six.

Anyone got any good ideas? Does anyone know how hard it is to replace the bearing in the compressor clutch unit?
