Question 99 malibu water leaking on floor

HI,I'm new to the forum here. I belong to another forum that i won't go into right now(not ford lol).
My question is:my wifes 99 malibu leaks on the passenger floor board everytime it rains.I have checked the door seals and made shure that the door is sealing and closed very well.It looks like to me that the water is coming from under the dash somewhere. Its not the heatercore necause this only happens when it rains. Is this a common thing for theese cars?.or am i one of the lucky ones that gets to figure this out for the first time.Any help with this would be graetly helpful. Thanks

Yea , my first thought was the heater core, but you have checked it already it seems. Have you had your windschild replaced at all recently? Could be a bad install. I hope you figure it out thru the forum.

Welcome to the forum by the way!

That would be my guess. It's not a common problem on these cars. Everyone has their own bugs. What we did at my work to find leaks was; we made a shower using some cheap piping and a shower head. That way you can simulate rain while you check for leaks. One of the easiest way to find them. Otherwise you're waiting for it to rain or you need a helper.
