I have a 2004 Malibu Classic. Purchased it with a clean Montana title, 99K miles, Ecotec 2.2L, everything seems to function without issue, aside from the power trunk release.

Anyways, today I popped the hood and noticed this.



It appears that this area is my vehicle has been bent or twisted. Any idea what could of caused this? I haven't gotten in any sort of accident since I purchase the vehicle several days ago. Is it replaceable? Is it even a big deal? Thanks.
