Default check engine light

98 Malibu is throwing codes for air /temp sensor. Codes have been extracted from computer and reset a total of 3 times and the sensors themselves have been changed twice. After computer is reset, check engine light will be off for a minimum of 1 hour and sometimes may take an entire day before it pops back on. Last tune up was 1 year ago, along with new head gasket. Problem first emerged after head gasket was changed. Is there a possible problem which was caused from the head gasket replacement?? Car runs well, just the light stays on. Please help!! Trying to get this problem fixed and be gone.

You're not clear which engine you have ...4cyl. or 6 cyl. ... exactly which "sensors" have been changed twice ...and what your code(s).

The common issue on the v6 is the intake manifold gasket.
