HALP . . . . .How do I get the ABS light to go out on the dash ????

 

here is a tip HALP is actually spelled HELP, as for the ABS get it fixed and it will prolly go out. is this a serious question.....try some electrical tape if your feeling cheap and dont wanna spend a G note on a car that is not worth a G note

I have the same car with the same issue. My front hubs were replaced and I believe that is where the sensor is located. The ABS did not come on until after the repair. I have been told there is a connector that can be loose or frayed at the hub. I would suggest a Chilton or Haynes manual to look for the connection to check. I am about to do the same.

I bought a 99 malibu last week...as is...so had this lamp come ON every now and then and turns off after i turn the car off and start it again. 3 days back i just turned the front wheels to full one side and went to a connector on hub. Just ryed it tighter and the light hav not popped on agin since that...Sounds like a very easy FIX....Gud luck.
