Hi, I need some advice. I have a 2015 Malibu. I had an oil change done and since then the "Service Stabilitrak" warning light comes on. While the warning flashes, my engine light flashes on and off, then will go off. When this first happened the engine light stayed on. I had the code read and got codes P0300- Random/Multiple cylinder misfire and P16D0- Manufacturer control. I deleted the codes, yet I am still getting this warning light at least once a day.

I have noticed when the warning flashes my car seems to lose power, however it will still drive. Should I be concerned? How do I fix this issue or can I fix this issue without taking it to the dealership?

 

Quite often, an issue with the battery will cause random codes to begin appearing. Have your battery checked and load tested to make sure it's in top shape. These computers are very sensitive to the power they're receiving.
