Hello all just recently bought a 05 malibu LT 3.5 V6 with 110k miles. It runs good, but it does have a few issues. The car has 2 error codes: B3006:01 (I don't know what it is I would like to know how can I fix it) and the other code is U2172:00.
I would love some info on what could this be and how to fix it! Thank you!

 

OBD II code B3006 "means that the car hood isn't closed"

OBD II code U2172 means "Lost Communication With Digital Radio Receiver"

I can see that you already know, by what your OBD scanner says.

Likely a short, fuse, relay or corrosion issue, IMO.

 

ahh ok alright Ill check for blown fuses, my battery also drains super fast I don't know why.

I fixed my battery drain issue just needed to be charged I put it on my battery tender and that fixed itself. Now the issue is my trunk does not open with the button in the cabin or the exterior key hole (I can put my key in it but it will not turn) is there a way I can pop it open
