Started my 2017 Chevrolet Malibu the other day and check engine light came on as well as message on dash stating Low power. I called my Chevorlet dealer to get the car in for service, but in the meantime I took it to Auto Zone and the code P0299 was shown.
Which is telling me turbo charger. I have been through this with 2018 Chevrolet Cruze. About the same amount miles on each car. Does Chevy have a problem with Turbo Chargers ?
Have any of you had this code and what was the result with dealership

 

Well took it to my local Chevy Dealer on Friday did not have enough time to properly diagnose the cause but believe it to either the Turbo Charger or Intercooler. On a car with 790000 miles on it c'mon Chevy what gives with your turbos
