Where is the OBD 2 located on a Malibu ... I know it is supposed to be within 36 inches of the steering wheel. I will be dambed if I can find it. I know that is a real rookie question. Thanks for any replies.[sm=rolleyes.gif]

 

It should be located slightly hidden underneath the dash below the steering colum. I have a 1997 and that is where it is.

 

Just follow the steeringwheel post till the dash ends then follow the border to the left untill you find the plug.
