On my 2016 LT 1.5 Malibu I am experiencing steering stiffness issue, sometimes it works but very loose and sometimes it doesn't move at all.
Stiffness I observed only during startup and not in between (Thanks god!).
I checked with dealer and they are giving me option to replace rack and pinion. they are charging a lot. I brought this 2nd hand and started giving issue just after 1 week. the owner did not shared this with me.
Pleas share any experiences to get rid of this issue in a cheaper way.
