Default problem with wife's 01 LS
Hi everyone, new member here. My wife has a 01 LS and has been complaining of it "driving weird." I noticed today when I drove it, there is a noticeable thump when putting it into drive. The check engine light is on and don't have a code reader for it. Is there a way to get the code manually. I am a DC guy so I am unfamiliar with Chevy codes. Thanks.

auto zone will do computer scans for free.
