Default Question about keyless entry 2001 malibu

OK so I'm a new owner, and when i bought the car they didn't give me a keyless entry remote. I am wondering if the car has keyless entry...and was wondering if someone knows the location of the module? Its a 2001 if that makes a difference....

is your car equipped with power locks? if so, it probably has remote locks. check this link for help:

Well it does have power locks...I looked under the dash and rear window shelf and didn't see anything. Is there a little more direction as to where the module would be located?

I bought a 2001 Chevy Malibu about 9 months ago, I looked into the keyless entry for my malibu and gave the vin number to the chevy dealer and was told that it was not available for my car, and chevy couldn't do anything, then found somebody that puts an aftermarket keyless entry system into a car, and he said as long as I had the power locks it could be done for around $ 130+, but I haven't committed to doing it as yet.
