Service Battery Charging System
Hey guys,
I have a 2013 Chevy Malibu ECO. Last night after a day of driving my battery light came on red and my car gave me a message to service battery charging system. Car drove perfect. I drove home and went to sleep and let the car sit off. Before I went in I check the battery voltage on the dash and it said 11.9V. In the morning, it turned on fine so I drove it for about 2 miles around the neighborhood. The battery voltage stayed between 14.1v and 14.9v. I came home and went about my day. Curious to see I went to go to the car wash about a mile away. As soon as i pulled into the car wash the same error came upon my screen but again the car drove fine. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
