1st time poster here - would appreciate any suggections for new tires for a 2005 MalibuMaxx LS

Not too impressed with the original tires which were Bridgestone Insignia SE 215 60 R 16's

Car currently has about 40,000 miles.

I just put some Dean Equuis tires on mine and they ride great. Got them from Fleet Farm.

Looking back on this post I feel like I left out info so here goes. About the Dean Equuis. They are from fleet farm. They are about $80 a piece for 215-60-R16. They have an 80,000 mile tread warranty and they are pretty smooth and quiet. Dean tires are a no name brand subsidary of Cooper tires. I think they are pretty well built. About other brands, goodyears can be pretty expensive and Bridgstones I only heard the Potenzas are good the others are yuck except they do make another which I saw at sears and they are all season performance orientated. Not like a summer tire but it handles better than a touring tire. Yokohamas TRZ we had success with our Grand Prix and Kuhmos are great to. Just remember your tire size 215-60-R16.
