I have a campsite located 1/2 mile from launch ramp, an older 19 ft. fiberglass, Javelin bass boat and usually drive down there with my 2500HD so I can launch it. I've got a chance to buy a low mileage Malibu V-6, 3.4 engine. Can you pull a boat for short distances without hurting things? I keep my boat down there near the camper also. Is there a safe distance to pull a boat with the smaller car?

Is anyone pulling a boat with any regularity?
