Unknown check engine light
Hey,
out of nowhere my check engine light comes on. I diagnose it and the following codes came up:
u01b0 prm
u01b0 cnd
u01b0 cnf
I google these codes to get no results. I check under the hood. Everything seems to be okay except the AC hose. Its wet and very cold going towards the air filter. Anyone has an idea what these codes are. Thanks
my car is a 2016 chevy malibu ls, 1.5l engine.

I have a computer that I plugged up to my car. And the computer retrieve those codes. I took the car to a local auto parts store who does free diagnostic testing and those codes came up as well but produce no results on their end.

not sure if your have a formatting issue...what exactly is the tool you are using and the auto parts store is using. if there is a mismatch or the scan tool is to old, it will spit out useless info.
when you retrieve a code...you need to know what module the code is setting in and the proper format
p= powertrain, b=body, c=chassis, u=undefined, follow by 4 characters, followed by 2 character descriptor of what type of fault is set. ie short, open
this code is possible code for your build although the suffix descriptor is different
DTC U01B0 00Lost Communication with Battery Monitor Module
u codes are what are known as undefined. they set when modules on the bus network loss communication with each other. if the code is stored...clear it out and monitor for a re-occurrence.

Your posts are not helping your cause. I replied with a POST 96 malibu, since you didn't post year (edited that later). You're just mad because you can't diagnois your problem.

Never said there was one, I said POST 96, that would be anything LATER than a 96. BTW Malibu came out in 1964. Glad it is resolved. You should take a tip, and grow up.
