00 monte carlo LS trans swapping
Hello all I have a kinda odd question here, I have a 2000 monte carlo ls with the 3.4 and the trans is losing 3rd gear. I can source a trans from a 2001 grand prix with the 3.8
my concern is if the axles will work in the swap I know the bellhousing patterns are the same. Also heard 00-02 are interchangeable?
appreciate any input otherwise the car is probably getting scrapped
