Default 1997 lumina

Hi my name its mike, the other day the service engine light came on my 97 3.1 lumina the car dint seem to have any problem except it was consuming a lot of gas (he,he,he) and i mean a lot so i took it to the local mechanic to do a computer scan he told me that the injector number one wasn't working that was the code, so i bought a new injector bought the gasket for the spider and i change it its been 3 days now and i cant use the lumina i can hardly maintain it given it gas when i give it gas it revs up a lot then it goes down again and starts to shake i have triple check alll the vacums hoses downloaded the vacum diagram i have double check the injector the gaskets everything and nothing seems to work.

any ideas...

Thanks
