Default 95 Monte Carlo Question

Hi,

I have a 95 Monto Carlo that has been sitting gathering dust, I want to tidy it up to sell but of course when I went to start it the battery was dead! I popped the hood the the battery is covered by the washer water tank and a metal bar I'm sure this is an easy question but can anyone tell me how I get to the terminals to jump start the car?

Thanks!
