Default 96 Monte Carlo, blown head gasket

I have a 1996 Monte Carlo with the 3.1 in it. It has 183,000 miles and a recently blown head gasket. I think I am going to try to sell it, anyone have any idea what this is worth? The body has a small amount of rust, the interior is still in good shape, and it seemed to run good up until this point.

Doesn't matter how it used to run. The fact is that it has a blown head gasket and that reduces the value.

These guys are being nice. It AINT WORTH NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! Would YOU buy a car that is 15 years old , rusty and needs major engine work? Do yourself a favor, give this car to your local high school vocational program as a tax deductible charitable donation.

Maybe you should tell this to the guy that just bought it from me. Within 12 hrs of listing it, I got a call from a guy saying he would give me $500 and take it away. I told him I wanted to hold out, he said to call him if I change my mind. 2 hours later another guy called, came out, and gave me $750 for it and took it away. Not bad.

I'm glad I didn't take your advice. $750 is worth A LITTLE MORE THAN NOTHING!

nah I'd go more along "one mans junk is another mans treasure" everyday I see vehicles pull in that most people would never look at but the owners love them and will drive them till the end.
