97 Monte Carlo Z34 starter relay issues

The first place to look would be the starter relay. Try switching it with another relay that has the same part number. Also look at the relay wiring. When does the fuse blow? Does it blow when you are starting?

yeah.. it only blows when i try to start it and even at that its not constant. it will blow 4-5 times in a row..then nothing for a few days. its weird. thanks for the info on replacing the relay itself.
