The rear door of my driver side is stuck locked, I've tried pulling the tab out and everything. It feels like when I pull on the handle it only goes about halfway and if I'd yank on it anymore it would just rip off. When trying to open it from the outside the handle goes up about halfway then I lift higher and it feels like its going to open but then when I pull its stuck. Any ideas on what this could be? Would I have to rip apart the entire door... inside the car to fix this?

 

Make sure the door lock is fully disengaged and then pull on the outside handle while pushing on the door (get the tension off of the latch)? Otherwise, the trim panel has to come off.
