maybe residue from spilled coffee??
who knows...pull the center console and inspect. Can't see it being anything from the engine/trans as the pass thru for the shift cable is at the firewall.
well that's reassuring, I have spilled up there before but not anytime recently, seems weird that it would be showing up now, but if its not anything mechanical than i'm not too worried about it. Thanks!
