Exclamation Changing ABS module/pump in a 2001 Monte

HELP !!! If anyone could send me a link of detailed instructions on how to change an ABS module/pump on a 2001 Monte Carlo I would be grateful.
Since this unit has went out it has messed up my traction control etc. I priced the job and parts and labor are $500.00 to $600.00 which I cant even begin to afford.

If you can help thanks if you can't and took time to read this thank you !!!

This is it. I bought it off of my mother-in-law a couple of weeks ago.

I know right. "What was I thinking! " She dumped it on me right before it started to fall apart. Its also starting to overheat. YEAH!!!

Anyway, any help would be appreciated. cp43

It must be reprogrammed if replaced the dealer is the only one that can program it. You can have it rebuilt then no programming is required. At work we use a company called Module Master. I believe their web site has instructions for removal. It will let you know if you can still drive while it is out for rebuild. The price should be much less.

Thank you for the info. I tried to take just the fuse out to stop a noise it makes every once in a while and when I did the car wouldn't even start. If there is a way a round it though that would be great.
Nice Tahoe !!!

I just went to the Module Masters website and put in the year, make, and model of my car & they say they don't know the type of ABS module. Again thank you for your help. Most mechanics wouldn't give up the info for free.
