Default DRLs on '99 Monte

Does anyone know how to disable the DRLs on a Monte without engaging the parking brake?

Default RE: DRLs on '99 Monte

find the drl module(behind left side of dash, on electronic brake control modle bracket), there will be 2 connectors. The one you need is a 7 pin harness. wire colors are as follows:

A brown
B lt blue
C dk grn\pnk
D yellow
E dk blue
F dk grn
G black

Cut the dk blue wire from the module, and attach it to the black wire. The dk blue wire is the output from the drl module, but at the same time it is also the ground to one of the highbeams. So if you just cut the wire, one high beam will not work, so you must attached it to ground.
