Default lighting issues

i got a 93 chevy lumina, i jus put H.I.D's in it n as soon as they warm up my tail light fuse blows n i start smoking the head light switch, i checked everything n everythings fine, i have n idea wats wrong, anyone have any ideas?

the HIDs are most likely blowing the fuse from the excess draw from the electronic circuit.. i would recommend either rerouting the headlights through either a larger fuse circuit or installing the stock headlights and just upgrading to silverstar bulbs which are brighter halogens with better clarity
