Default radiator removal 2000 MC

greetings to all. I'm new here and have been looking for information concerning the removal of the radiator on a 2000 Monte Carlo. while I have done many radiator R&I's, my forte is Fords. the car belongs to my mother in law and it has a small leak. I just need to know if it's a simple removal, I don't want to run into something I can't handle. I heard that one of the motor mounts needs to be loosened. any truth to that??

Yeah u got 2 engine mounts on top but no big deal to remove. They support the engine frome moving side to side. U may want to put the car in neutral before removing. Also dont loose the Jesus clips that hold the trany lines in to the radiator they can be a pain. Good Luck!

No the dont screw off. They have clips holding them in. The clips have a cover over them. Pry the covers off then you will c U clips. Youll need like a pick to get um out and when they do come off they have the tendancy to go flying. Be careful take your time and DONT LOOSE UM!
