Default Switch under the steering column...

Hey guys...

I have a question...I have a Chevrolet Lumina 1995, now, in the board under the steering column at the left, i have a switch.

The problema is i dont know for what is it...all ready try it with the car idle and off and nothing happens, can anyone tell me for what is it...?

Thanks to all again.

I think is a factory switch, because it has the cover the right entry or hole, and molded for the switch, pic? i could take one, i tried to follow the wires, it goes to the left side, all the way up, but dont know where they go...

First thing that comes to mind is after market fog lights
or maybe an after market amp.
second thought is something James Bond-ish
switch to disable tail lights, oil slick maker, rocket launcher?

Is it possibly your traction-control switch for winter? I had an early 90's GranPrix that had that - which forced the tranny to start out in 2nd gear when slick.

Click it on, and see how it accelerates! Let us know.
