Default Transmission sticks

Hi all, newbie here.

As of a few weeks ago, it's difficult to shift from park into reverse or drive (automatic transmission, clearly). Haven't noticed any other problems, and at first I thought maybe it was just the cold weather. But it's never acted like this before in cold weather.

I'm guessing my transmission fluid needs to be changed (108k miles, and I haven't done it since I got the car at about 75k miles). So I'm gonna take it to Jiffy Lube today and get that done. Hope that fixes it, and it isn't that the transmission is going...

Anybody have any idea if it could just be the fluid needing to be changed?

I did find this troubleshooting guide, but it's for the cobalt (and I haven't had any ignition problems).
