Will using 4 wheel high mess up my car? We had some snow and drove the car in 4 high then when it melted my mom got in the truck and drove on dry pavement to the store appx 2 miles round trip. Feels fine but anything I should do to check it out? Cousin says metal shavings should be checked...

 

your fine. she would have to drive in circles the entire way there and back and them some to damage anything. if they damaged that easy, every 4wd truck would be broken down.

 

short jaunts wont hurt them like the older 4x4's 99 and older it might affect the mileage wile in 4wd .
