whats up people, new here and this will be my 1st post. I am now a owner of a 2004 Chevy Caviler with about 82K miles on it and am looking into probably selling that soon for something a little bigger and decent on gas, was going on the Monte Carlo? Think this is a wise decision? My Budget is around 6 to 7 thousand, which year would best suit my decision? Thanks guys am looking forward to learning more about cars One day I wish to have a great 1986 SS Monte Carlo

 

Welcome to the forums MikeyMike. if your Cav is a 4cyl auto the mileage rating for it is 21city/31hwy, avg 25 mpg. the 1986 Monte SS (auto V-8) was rated at 15city/23hwy, avg 18 mpg. just something to consider if you are considering mileage when picking your new ride.
