I bought a 2003 S10 pickup (love it) but the spare tire hoist had a broken cable and there was no spare. I found a used hoist and finally found a used rim, bought a tire, but now I am thinking this may need a compact spare? Is that correct? I think I wasted a bunch of time, effort and money on a full size wheel and tire. Felling a bit stupid!
