On this truck when you start it and let it warm up it starts to make a ticking noise. When you race up the rpms some it stops, it only does it at an idel what would cause this Need Help Please

 

The most likely cause would be lifters. of course. How is your oil pressure looking? Could be a bad oil pump O-ring seal not allowing enough oil to lubricate everything properly.
