Question 89 4x4 needs a GU6 rear end

Hello everyone!
This is my first post. I couldn't find an answer from searching, but I apologize if this has been answered before.

The rear end on my 1989 1500 4x4 reg cab short bed is dead. It's a GU6 option so it has 3.42 gears, 10 bolt.

What is the newest rear end that would be a good replacement?
All the old trucks have been crushed so I can't easily find one at a yard. I'd like to get something with fewer miles on it anyway.
Buying a rebuilt one is over a grand so there must be a better option.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Andy

My solution. I didn't want to mess with finding a match that was old so I just paid a transmission shop to fix it for $1600. Easy and done.
Now, the motor is dying so I'm going to get a crate motor. I think.
