rear end sounds like something scraping? i bought this truck new in 96 it has 243,000 all i have done is put a battery in it. drive it for my business everyday until this i miss it. where do i find the gear ratios? and have had it stuck a few times . what do u think about posi.traction please help need my truck back. driving my wifes now not a good idea .

 

Could be a boken spring or retaing pin holding the brake shoes to the backing plate. Suggest you pull the wheels and drums before you get into the rear end.
