Default 89 Chevy K1500 Frame Question

I recently bought a 1989 Chevy K1500, single cab, short bed, and it needs a new frame. I want to swap all the parts over to the new frame without any need for modifications. What frames would work? Can I only look for years, 88-91? Or can I go up to like, 95?

The C/K pickups were on what is called the GMT400 platform from 1988 to 1998. I think any truck frame for the same configuration (short bed, standard cab) from that year range would work. Just look carefully at the visible parts of the frame and make sure it matches up, in case something changed, but pretty sure it was common for those 11 model years.

Welcome to the forum. If you post your question in the applicable pickup section of the forum, you will get more views. This is the Welcome New Members section of the forum.

Since there used to be a printed version of a interchangeability guide for automotive parts, you might be able to find something like that online.
