Hello Chevy Community, New member here. Apologies if I’ve missed this Thread or Post covering this problem. I’ve searched thru all th posts I could find involving this issue.
Have 1999 Tahoe LT 5.7L 130K Ran Lk a Top!
Sat over th winter, Come Springtime th fuel Pump wouldn’t come on. Sat another year. Pumped out & Removed th No longer “Full” Fuel Tank. Installed a New GM Fuel Pump. Re installed Tank. Turn key On, Pump won’t come On. Installed New Fuel Relay. Pump won’t come On. Tested 12V into Relay? YES! Put 12V to Relays Corner Fuel Pump Terminal, Pump Turns On & Runs constantly! Remove Power Lead And Turn ign key, Pump won’t come on! ???
Friend warned of Worn Ign Key Syndrome & th Tahoes Computer System Re-Learning th New Key! He talked me into trying my Brand New ign Key & Turning Key On Leaving key On 10 minutes… To Re Learn the New ign key! But still
Nothing! (Didn’t think that was th issue)!
Any help is greatly appreciated! Any suggestions or ideas will be considered.
