Its a 2wd. I can tell by looking at the setup of the front suspension on the frame.

That little pickup will really make a nice first ride. I like that boxy style too, sorta retro and sorry about the power-coat fiasco. Keep the pics coming though.

 

yep..ive been told it had this tranny that tranny. and no matter what tranny i put in it with a 4.3 or 305 i would have to make a lot of changes to drive line. I tried to find some numbers on the original tranny to worn. But i did acquire a 700 r4 tranny and was just told by some one this past weekend that same thing that the 82 with a 2.8 did infact have a 700r4 tranny. but i was just about ready to start putting it in and takeing measurements.
