Default Backyard built

HI all new to the site.

way down here in Georgia

So my son and I started a rebuild project of an 82 S-10
which was my grandmother then my mother acquired it a
few years ago. Then i bought it for my son. But he dcided
he wanted a low rider. Well no reall plan but new c arms
were purchased then a 4-link rear suspension but first the
frame was powder coated. skipp skip a year and 1/2 later
we are going to pick up the body at the paint shop tommorrow.
been a long process but i will prove them wrong this truck will
run again i promise.

Even after a 500$ powdercoating still had a rust problem that slowed the project down.Never could get the guy to re do it. So brother-in-law came over rescued us with a solution.

initially were going to swap the 2.8 for a 305 then was told that the 4.3 would be a better way. what do u think. i already have both motors and a 700r4 tranny. and adapter plates for a v 8 conversion a. was hoping to less confusion with the trans mount and drive shaft length.
