Default Engine misfire issue.

I have a 96 C1500 with the 5.7l engine. I only really notice this when it is cold. It idles great, and performance doesn't seem affected. But, after starting and then starting to drive it, it will stumble @ around 1700-1900 RPM. It seems to be getting worse, but don't always happen every time. My code scanner gives me P0300 trouble code (misfire detected) but nothing else. I did a tune-up on it about a year ago trying to cure the problem then, but it didn't work. I drive a truck for a living, so time isn't always on my side. It doesn't sit long either so I know that's not the cause. I was told that the camshaft posistion sensor could cause this as well as the crankshaft position sensor. I'm at my wits end on this. I love the truck, it runs like a champ, but is temepermental sometimes. Can anybody help me out here? Thanks
