Just joined this forum after trading in my 05 Equinox for a 2011 HHR.

So far has been a good decision. Really enjoy driving the HHR.

I live in northern Calif.

 

I was going to get a HHR until I sat in it at the dealership. I like the way it looks but I didn't like the feel in the drivers seat. I am 5' 11" and felt too small. The top of the windshield blocked my vision and it didn't feel right. Kept my Silverado.

 

I at 6 ft. & have no problem in that respect. The seats in the Equinox never gave me a comfortable ride no matter how I adjusted them

In the HHR.....their great.

I agree with your problem. Nothing worse than not being comfortable in your car.
