Chuck here,
1989 C1500 5.7
Having an issue with truck and it doesn't act up for the repair shop so they don't know where to approach.
Truck starts and drives normally at first start up but after I drive it then park somewhere that when it starts to act up. If I start it after it's been sitting for at least an hour its fine but any sooner it will die and not then not start unless I wait another 15 minutes or so. If I pour just a little bit of gas in the throttle body it will start right up. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. Check the fuel pressure. Sounds like fuel pump is failing.
