I just bought this 1998 Chevy 1500 2wd V6 w/255000 Highway Miles. I brought it into the garage a couple days ago to have the front main seal replaced. It was leaking a small amount of oil. It needs some more work for a new sticker in October including: Front brake pads and rotors turned. U-Joints are worn, and shocks are bad. I would like to attempt these repairs on my own, and look forward to some help from people around these forums.
