I just bought a 2008 Avalanche with several maintenance issues. Thanks to the Forum they are all now fixed. I had a P0449 Code fixed by replacing the Vent Solenoid; three faulty OEM door lock actuators fixed with instructions from the Forum and with Gruven motors; lousy OEM door speakers replaced with recommended Kenwood speakers; extra key fob and key bought and programmed; and missing jack/spare removal tools bought.
My first Chevy was a 55 210. Then I owned a 57 BelAire for 35 years. After selling the 57 I bought a pristine 98 Corvette and recently drove it to the Bowling Green factory and then to California on Route 66. I also bought a 79 El Camino after selling the 57. In the 70s I drag raced a 56 210 and have built several high horsepower small block engines, the last of which is a 365 CI with over 500 HP now in my El Camino.
