Default I need a part that has been discontinued. Can someone help?
I have a small problem. A part that I need has been discontinued. I broke the seat release cable that pulls the backseat down.I have to have my backseat down for work.Does anyone know where I can get one, or have one lying around somewhere? It's a 1997 Tahoe, 2 door.

I'm afraid that if I do find one the cable will be rusted and break. Will any other year do?

Take the old cable to a bicycle shop that sells high end bikes like trek and any other 1000 bike and have them make the cable for you

You may be able to get the things you need to make a cable from Loews or Home depot.
