Default Greetings from Texas

Hello all,

Noob to the forums here... I just purchased a 79 chevy 2wd swb truck that I'm starting a frame up restore on. This will be my first project of this magnitude, and I'm looking forward to picking the "experts" brains on some things. I've built a few 4x4 trucks and put them in the "air" , but this will be my first lowered / slammed project and it's all new to me... I'm looking to do this one right (sport truck magazine type stuff) and my first order of business is the suspension / brakes - big brake kit and rear disc conversion. Again, I look forward to reading the post and getting some insight from some of you guys that have done this type of project before.

Oh, and anyone know of any custom shops in the Dallas area (Mesquite, Garland, Plano etc... that deals with this type of project?... I know plenty of 4x4 shops, but none that fit this bill... thanks for any info...
